the other night I had a hankering for a piece of chocolate cake! ┬áit was late-ish and too late to whip one up nor did I have everything on hand…..but i did have bakers chocolate and a baguette and thus remembered this trick from Food52

here’s what you do, quick and simple and delicious:

  1. Slice a baguette
  2. Lay a piece of chocolate on top
  3. Place in a 350 degree oven until the chocolate melts
  4. Sprinkle with olive oil and sea salt
  5. Yum!

****the better quality the baguette, chocolate and olive oil……the better the result
